LE's own additive research and manufacturing company, The ALMASOL® Corporation, and our complete research and development department continually develop more effective and efficient high technology additives and product lines that are proprietary to LE. ALMASOL® - Reduces friction, wear, and resists chemical attack while withstanding high loads and temperatures to 1,900°F(1,038°C).
DUOLECTM - Revolutionary technology designed specially for LE gear lubricants. It is a temperature activated, dual acting, liquid additive that imparts special properties and synergies to the LE products in which it is used. DUOLECTM increases lubricant film strength and protects metal surfaces outperforming at greater temperatures and loads.
MONOLEC® - Increases oil film strength and reduces friction, heat and wear by separating moving metal components and minimizing metal-to-metal contact. Should the oil's film strength break down, MONOLEC® reacts chemically to form a protective, synthetic lubricant which increases the lubricant's film strength.
QUINPLEX® - Forms a barrier that resists water spray off. Adheres itself to the applied surface which allows the grease to resist “pound out” better. The use of QUINPLEX® enhances the “coupling” of the oil with the thickener, improves the overall stability of the grease and forms a barrier against corrosion.
PYROSHIELD® Products - Offer excellent non-leaded lubricity for heavy-duty sliding, open gear and shock loaded applications.

How DUOLECTM Works
DUOLECTM is the newest LE proprietary additive incorporating revolutionary technology designed specifically for use in LE gear lubricants. It is a temperature activated, dual acting liquid additive that imparts special properties and synergies to the LE Products in which it is used. DUOLECTM increases lubricate film strength and protects metal surfaces outperforming at greater temperature and loads.
DUOLECTM incorporates revolutionary new technology which is thermally activated to provide a dual layer of antiwear and extreme pressure protection that forms a solid-like protective layer on the metal surface. This layer fills surface asperities, effectively smoothing the surface and minimizing the effects of any metal to metal contact thereby reducing friction and preventing welding and surface wear.
