LEAP – LE's Used Oil Analysis Program
LE’s comprehensive system for sampling, analyzing and monitoring oil performance and equipment conditions, establishes your optimum oil change intervals and offers you the most economical use of LE lubricants. This program is an excellent preventive maintenance tool which can detect unusual wear or contamination before it damages your equipment.
Why is LEAP important?
By regularly determining the conditions of oil - whether in an engine, gearbox or circulating system - LEAP can help accomplish two critical objectives:
- Establish the best oil change interval for maximum productivity and economy through the use of LE products with their longer service life.
- Prevent unscheduled downtime of equipment by identifying abnormal wear, metal and contaminant concentrations before they cause major problems.
How does LEAP work?
LEAP analyzes oil samples to monitor mechanical, operational and environmental factors that can affect the life of the equipment and the lubricant. Laboratory personnel, LE’s Technical Department and the local LE representative review the reports and make appropriate recommendations for changes in products or maintenance schedules.
